Members of the public enjoyed a Victorian tea party with the Mayor of Harrow.

The afternoon tea was organised by Harrow Borough Council's Mayor Cllr Nana Asante to help raise money for her chosen charities Flash Musicals and Harrow Community Choir.

More than a dozen people enjoyed the event in the Mayor’s Parlour at Harrow Civic Centre on Saturday afternoon.

The Mayor’s chosen charity Flash Musicals is based in Edgware and runs a theatre group for children and teenagers and also martial arts classes, film nights, an after-school club and dance classes.

Harrow Community Choir is a group for mental health service-users and their carers which gives them the chance to sing and perform in public.
