A final five businesses have been chosen to battle it out in Harrow’s very own Dragons Den-style competition.
The entrepreneurs have been chosen to take part in Harrow Borough Council’s Business Den contest and are in with a chance of winning expert advice to help their venture.
Each will pitch their ideas to a panel of experts on Wednesday March 19 at the council’s Borough for Business event.
The businesses that have made it to the final include a gardening maintenance company, a language school, a fashion brand, a consultancy firm and an energy-saving enterprise.
Cabinet member for business Councillor Kamaljit Chana said: “We had some fantastic entries to the competition and our shortlist is a real mix of interesting and innovative ideas.
“It should all make for a really lively contest and will be the centrepiece of what is looking to be an exciting and unique evening for our businesses.”
The free event will also be a chance from businesses from across the borough to meet with others, network and get advices about their companies.
