Members of five Synagogues will join together to form a new Jewish community in North West London.
Middlesex New, Hatch End Masorti, and Harrow and Wembley Progressive Synagogues will formally join together and create a new religious community in the area.
On Sunday, members from all three constituent shuls will consider proposals to name the pluralist community either the Kehila community or Mosaic.
Phil Austin, chairman of the group which organised the plans, said: “Our new community and name celebrates religious and personal differences, while simultaneously recognising that the whole of Jewish values and tradition is much greater than the sum of the parts.
“We want to challenge and to be challenged, redefining Anglo-Jewry from the silos which have for too long done more to exclude than include those who identify as Jewish but can find no natural home."
