A charity is calling on people to help spread the word about a national day of action to raise awareness of self harm.
The WISH Centre, in Peel Road, Harrow, will launch its Thunderclap campaign for Self Harm Awareness Day on Saturday.
The charity supports the recovery of people in Harrow involved in self harm, violence, abuse and neglect.
Thunderclap is a ‘crowd-speaking platform’ which allows people to sign up to a cause and have a message published on their social media page at the same time.
At 10am on Saturday Self Harm Awareness Day begins the same message will be sent out by people who have signed up to the campaign to spread the message as far as possible.
Those wanting to show their support to the campaign can sign up to the Thunderclap by clicking here.
