A man was taken to hospital after he was found near a bus stop with a stab wound in the middle of the day.

Police were called to Locket Road at the corner of Borrowdale Avenue by London Ambulance Service at 1.30pm on Monday.

A 24-year-old man had been found with a stab wound to his shoulder.

He was taken to hospital as a priority and his injuries were not life threatening.

Officers say no arrests have been made and anyone with any information about the incident is urged to get in contact with police.
