Police bike security event on tomorrow in Harrow

Police are inviting cyclists in Harrow to get their bike protected at a cycling safety event tomorrow.

Officers from Harrow police will be in the car park of Tesco in Hindes Road, for a cycle safety event from 3.30pm to 5pm.

People will be able to get free security marking for their bikes which can deter thieves by making them easy to trace by police if they are ever stolen.

Harrow Police is providing an excellent opportunity for Harrovians to get their bikes marked free of charge at the large Tesco supermarket in Hindes Road tomorrow afternoon.Let's hope many will avail themselves of this opportunity and help keep bike crime down in our borough.

Of course, people will still need to lock their bikes and take the usual necessary precautions to prevent having their bikes stolen in the first place but security marking helps the Police to trace thieves and convict them.It is a deterrent. Please help them to help you.
