A man has pleaded guilty to stabbing a teenager with a bottle in the middle of a busy shopping street.
Andre MacCarthy, 20, of Francis Road, Harrow, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent at Harrow Crown Court today after stabbing the teenage boy in St Anns Road, in September last year.
A large part of Harrow town centre was closed off by police following the incident.
MacCarthy was bailed under the supervision of his parents and issued with a curfew from 7pm to 6am to be monitored by electronic tag.
He is due to be sentenced at Harrow Crown court on February 18.
