Elderly people enjoyed the first lunches in a campaign to help support them during the winter period.
More than 20 people enjoyed the first Winter Warmer lunch held by Harrow Borough Council at Wealdstone Methodist Church, in Locket Road.
The lunches were paid for by Age UK and are part of a council programme to help older people in the borough which includes offering electric blankets, slippers and basic home insulation.
The campaign has been backed by £50,000 fund from the council and Age UK which will organise more lunches on behalf of the authority.
