The two boys believed to have been killed by their own mother before she took her own life have been named.
Anopan Vageswaran, five and his brother Nathaban Vageswaran, seven months, were found dead with their mother Jeyavani Vageswaran, 33, on Thursday, January 9.
Police were called to the family home in Woodgrange Close, Kenton, at 5.20pm to reports of a woman and two children with injuries.
Post-mortem examinations on the two children carried out on Tuesday gave their cause of death as suffocation.
The mother’s cause of death was given as compression of the neck, following a post mortem examination on Friday.
The death of the two boys is being treated as murder and detectives from homicide and major crime command say they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the crime.
