Proposals to axe the role of chief executive are due to be discussed by councillors this week.
Councillors on Harrow Borough Council’s special overview and scrutiny committee will tomorrow consider a report on proposals to get rid of the position.
In October last year leader of the council Susan Hall announced a consultation to get rid of the role as a cost saving measure.
And in November, Harrow Council’s chief executive Michael Lockwood announced he would leave his role after a deal made at meeting of the chief officer’s employment panel.
The committee will tomorrow consider a report into proposals for the deletion of the role and the shape of senior management at the council if the decision was to go ahead.
The meeting will start at 8pm at Harrow Civic Centre in Station Road.
