Deaf club announces guests for Chinese New Year celebrations

A business television presenter has been announced as a charity’s keynote speaker for its Chinese New Year celebrations.

Brianna Wang will be the guest at the Harrow Unites Deaf Club’s annual Chinese New Year party on Saturday January 4.

Ms Wang TV journalist for ‘Business Daily’ TV programme in China from 1995 to 2000 and has more recently worked as the People's Daily Online UK correspondent and presenter.

She will give a short talk at the about the importance of the annual event in China.

Also at the evening will be by guest speakers Harry Perry Lewis and Andrew Tobin will be discuss their work across the world as deaf volunteers.

The charity event will take place at The Bridge, in Christchurch Avenue, Harrow, from 6pm and is open to all. Tickets are £2 for adults and £1 for children over ten.
