Young members of a church spent the night sleeping out in the open air to help raise thousands for charity.
The group of ten teenagers from All Saints’ Church, in Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald, spent the night out doors in cardboard box shelters to raise money for Street Kids Direct.
During the night group set up a video link with charity leader Duncan Dyason and children helped by the organisation charity in Guatemala.
Throughout the cold evening they then huddled around the fire to keep warm and tried to get some sleep in their cardboard shelters with temperatures dropping to just above freezing.
Through sponsorship the group managed to raise a total of £3,500 for the charity which helps children living on the street around the world.
