Charity choir raises money at tube station
A charity supporting people who have lost a loved one raised more than £600 by singing carols at a busy underground station.
Harrow Bereavement Care raised the money thanks to the generosity of public transport users at Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station.
The impromptu choir of charity supporters accompanied by the Herga band sang a range of carols for two hours in the station.
Last year the group raised more than £500, and this year the local branch of Royal Bank of Scotland will part match some of the collected money.
Harrow Bereavement Care’s trained volunteer offer support to people who have lost someone close to them.
