Secondary school pupils are to start a new anti-bullying campaign which will offer a safe space for their vulnerable peers.
Anti-bullying ambassadors at Hatch End High School will be creating an area called the Treehouse at their school.
It will be used a common room for all year groups and is available to any student who feels they need extra support during break times and before and after school.
Anti-bullying co-ordinator Jan Harwood said, “We are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all pupils at Hatch End.
“Students are very much at the forefront of achieving this, and this latest project further demonstrates their commitment to offering support to their peers.”
The project, helped by a £500 grant from the Jack Petchey Foundation, aims to further eradicate bullying at the school.
