Oyster card holders bear road safety messages after Nower Hill High School competition in Harrow
Oyster card holders depicting a series of road safety messages have been designed by students at a Pinner secondary school.
Young artists at Nower Hill High School, in George V Avenue, took part in a school competition to encourage young people to think about the dangers on London’s roads.
Eight winning entries were chosen from hundreds submitted, and 100 of each have been printed on to plastic holders by Transport for London and distributed to pupils at the school.
The students took part in focus groups and were given information on road safety, particularly around the dangers of distractions like headphones and texting, before creating the designs.
