Pupils were treated to a visit from a cabinet minister and an MP for a tour of their school.
Secretary of State for International Development Justine Greening was joined by MP Bob Blackman for a tour of Avanti House School in Stanmore.
During the visit last week the minister met the schools trust team and spoke to Year 7 and Year 8 pupils about their work.
Mr Blackman, who represents Harrow East, said: “The Avanti House School is an excellent example of the popularity of schools with an ethos of attaining high standards of educational excellence and spiritual insight and I have been pleased to work with them over the last few years as they have expanded.”
