Harrow support group to host ADHD conference
An ADHD support group will be hosting a series of events as part of a national week of action.
ADHD Harrow will be holding a joint conference with groups from Ealing and Richmond to highlight the knock-on effects of the condition, which can sometimes go undiagnosed in children.
ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) is a group of behavioural symptoms that include inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.
The groups will also be highlighting the complex and distressing disorder for both children and their families in a seminar entitled Navigating Adolescence and ADHD.
The seminar will take place on Saturday, October 19 at the Good News Church, Chicheley Road, Harrow Weald and is open to all.
Those interested in attending the event must contact 020 8901 8009 to book a place.
