Public invited to care home's harvest festival in Hatch End
A harvest festival will take place this weekend in support of a homeless shelter.
People are being invited to Haven Residential Care Home in Wellington Road, Hatch End, for a harvest festival in support of Watford New Hope Trust homeless shelter.
Children will get the chance to help those who live at the home plant vegetables during the day and there will be live music from Opera Tottie, a singer and pianist cabaret duo.
The home is asking for those who attend to donate food such as fruit and vegetables which will go to the Watford New Hope Trust homeless shelter.
The home's manager Kanyi Tanda said: “We wanted to hold an event to celebrate the harvest season with the local community while also showing support for Watford New Hope Trust, who do amazing work for the homeless in the area.
“Our residents love hosting gatherings so would be delighted if you could join us for an afternoon of entertainment, food and fun.”
The event will take place from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Saturday September 21 and is free for anyone to attend.
