Calls for old neighbours for Cullington Close, Harrow reunion
A woman is calling on former neighbours who lived in her road to get in contact for a reunion celebration.
Patricia Faherty, nee Bracewell, is organising the celebration for former residents of Cullington Close, Harrow, who lived in the street from 1945 onwards.
So far more than 80 people have confirmed they will be joining the celebration, which will take place at the Fishery Inn in Watford Road, Elstree next month.
She said: “The main reason I have decide to do this is because our street felt like a family. The whole street was so united when I was growing up and we were all so close.
“We have been talking about having a reunion for a long time and it will be lovely to see everyone.
“Our street was special and everyone knew everyone else and it made us who we are today. It would be wonderful to see people from that time again.”
Anyone who previously lived on the street from the end of the Second World War onwards are invited to get contact Mrs Faherty at firstname.lastname@example.org
