Harrow pupils art work on display at central London galleries
Art by pupils at a Queensbury school will be displayed at galleries around the capital over the coming months.
Pupils at Claremont High School, in Claremont Avenue, Queensbury, have won several competitions, including 16-year-old Jordan Verdes, who was crowned ‘Junior Artist of the Year 2013’ in a prestigious competition run by The Society for All Artists.
His work is now on display at the Business Design Centre after he beat more than 5,000 other entries to win.
Another winner was Sapna Shah, who was accepted by Prince’s Drawing School Fine Art Foundation and had her work shortlisted for the Royal Academy’s A-Level Summer Exhibition, which also has an online display.
