Changes to Harrow's special education needs transport to go ahead
The borough's most vulnerable children will continue to receive support getting to school - but other services will be privatised.
Harrow Borough Council cabinet agreed this evening to make changes after a review by officers designed to save the council £540,000.
The council will continue to transport young people to the borough’s four specialist schools, while services to out-of-borough and to mainstream schools will be outsourced.
The service provides travel assistance to those under 21 with educational, physical or health related needs.
