Harrow musicians to take part in London-wide busker competition
Young musicians from Harrow are set to battle it out against nearly 200 others as part of a London-wide competition.
The six buskers will be taking part in the Gigs Big Busk 2013 music competition to find the capital’s best busker, organised by the Mayor of London.
Young people between the age of 11 and 25 will be placed at locations all over the city, including the Underground and St Paul's Cathedral, with people being able to vote for their favourites online.
The hopefuls from Harrow include the acts House Medicine Music, singer song-writer Daisy Mae Lewis and duo JX.
People have until August 31 to vote for their favourite act and Mayor Boris Johnson has called on the people of London to get voting online.
Those interested in voting for their favourite busker can do so by clicking here and the winner will be announced at the grand final on September 8.
