Thousands raised at St Luke’s Hospice Summer Proms Series
A series of summer proms concerts held by a hospice has raised more than £32,000 for its charity.
The huge amount was raised at the third annual St Luke’s Hospice Summer Proms Series, held at St Mary’s Church in Harrow on the Hill.
More than 900 people were treated to performances over several evenings from a group of Harrow string players, The London Welsh Male Voice Choir and BBC Big band lead trombonist Gordon Campbell and his big band.
The event raised £12,000 more than the previous year and money will go towards providing free care to patients in Harrow and Brent.
