A man has been convicted of the murder of an innocent teenager.
Nugent Rowe, of St Thomas' Drive, Pinner, was today found guilty at the Old Bailey of the murder of Danny O'Shea.
Police were called to the scene in Gill Avenue, Canning Town just after 6.15pm on December 2, 2011 to reports of an injured man.
Mr O'Shea was pronounced dead at the scene from a stab wound to the neck.
He was just 200 metres from his mother’s house when he was attacked and struggled to his own road, knocking on the first door he came to before collapsing.
The court heard how the incident was a planned revenge attack for a robbery but it later transpired Mr O'Shea had no part in the crime.
Mr Rowe will be sentenced at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
