Harrow deaf awareness day to take place tomorrow
People are being invited to learn more about the needs of deaf people in the borough as part of an awareness day tomorrow.
Harrow Deaf Awareness Day will take place at the Harrow Borough Council civic centre, in Station Road from 9am to 4.30pm.
Throughout the day there will be speeches from councillors and President of the Harrow Asian Deaf Club, Asif Iqbal MBE.
There will also be question time session discussing the issues around services for deaf people in Harrow and and also 25 stalls offering people information about ways to get support.
The daylong event is open to everyone and fully accessible to all delegates with BSL interpreters provided and Palatypist on the day.
