St Luke's Hospice to receive £510,000 from government for new day care centre
A Kenton-based hospice is in line to receive more than £500,000 in government funding to build a new day centre.
But according to the St Luke’s Hospice the money has not yet been confirmed and would only cover part of the project.
The funding is a share of £60million made available to projects delivering improvements that “directly benefit patients, have a tangible impact on the physical environment and provide value for money”.
It is being run in partnership with the charity Help the Hospices and a total of 176 hospices will benefit from the fund.
