32-year-old turns himself in following the serious sexual assault of 17-year-old girl in Clarendon Road

A man has been arrested on suspicion of serious sexual assault on a teenager outside Harrow-on-the-Hill station.

The 32-year-old turned himself in at a north west London police station on Thursday March 21.

He has been bailed until May while police make further enquiries.

The 17-year-old female was assaulted in Clarendon Road opposite The Royal Oak pub.

Her attacker attempted to assault her while she was on train travelling towards Harrow on the Hill.

When she got off at the station in Harrow town centre he then followed her and assaulted her outside the station.

The incident happened on February 6 between 10pm and 10.15pm. The man is believed to have got on the train at Eastcote Station.
