Harrow Borough Council's Big Energy Switch hopes to save £200 for those facing fuel poverty

Almost 400 residents have signed up to a Harrow Borough Council’s scheme to save on energy bills switching to the cheapest provider.

The Big Energy Switch is part of a London-wide initiative to use collective buying power to force down energy prices and save residents up to £200.

Anyone can sign up and the deal negotiated will depend on the number of people who register for the switch.

The council is using the scheme to help those who cannot afford to pay their energy bills and face falling into fuel poverty.
