Man pleads guilty to going equipped to steal and possession of drugs
A man who was arrested in Harrow town centre on Wednesday has admitted to possession of cannabis and going equipped to steal.
Daniel Blanariu, 21, of Palmerston Road, will appear at Hendon Magistrates Court for sentencing tomorrow afternoon.
The 21-year old appeared at the court on Thursday February 28 where he was granted bail.
As part of his bail conditions he must follow a curfew order that prevents him from leaving his home before 7am and after 7pm and keep all appointments with the police.
Mr Blanariu was caught after being chased through Harrow town centre by police.
He was carrying a bag for hiding stolen items and drugs.
The arrest was made as part of Operation Big Wing, in which officers carried out search warrants, arrests, licensing checks, uninsured vehicle checks and burglary patrols.

It's good to read in the weekly Police blog yesterday that our local Police have seized several laptops, tablets etc which seem to be stolen---in St Anne's Road.In addition,Operation Big Wing has brought many dividends. No doubt we will be hearing more about Harrow Police's successes in due course, including the closure of a cannabis factory in Hazeldene Drive,Pinner.
Congratulations to Chief Inspector for Neighbourhoods and Partnership----Clair
e Smart ---who took over less than a month back from Chief Inspector Russell Hughes on his posting to Brent.
HPCCG would like to warmly thank Inspector Pam Bannerman for her excellent service in Harrow. She performed some sterling work in our schools as well and is leaving on a well-deserved promotion.Hearty congratulations from us all.Her contribution in Harrow, during the London Riots, is one we will remember for a long time.
Let us hope the detection rate for crimes in Harrow will continue to increase and actual crimes reduce in number. We can all help to do that by following advice given out by local Police on an ongoing basis.
