Harrow's Relay for Life raise more than £52,000 for Cancer Research UK

Fundraisers from Harrow presented a cheque of more than £52,000 to Cancer Research UK on Friday.

Relay for Life in Harrow raised £52,369 over the last year for the cancer charity.

This brings the total raised for Cancer Research UK to more than £390,000 since the start of Harrow's Relay For Life in 2006.

Last year more than 300 people, including more than 50 cancer survivors, took part in the annual Relay For Life event.

The money will be used to conduct research into more than 200 forms of cancer.
