Marlborough Hill Primary school will be torn down to build a two and three-storey building

Harrow Borough Council has approved proposals to demolish and completely rebuild a primary school.
The council's planning committee on Wednesday granted permission for Marlborough Hill Primary School to build a two and three-storey building on its current site in a series of phases.
The school will also increase the number of entrances from two to three by building another one from Badminton Close.
Of the 308 letters sent by Harrow Borough Council to residents during the consultation only one replied.
The complainant was concerned about the adverse impact the new entrance would have on Badminton Close as a result of parents bringing and collecting their children.
There are also concerns about refuse collection vehicles not being able to access the road.
