UK Border Agency officers found ten illegal Indian nationals living in Wembley

Seven people have been arrested and now face being removed from the country following a UK Border Agency raid on a residential address in Wembley this morning.

Acting on intelligence, officers visited the three-bedroom flat in Newland Court, Forty Avenue at around 6am, where they carried out immigration checks.

Ten Indian nationals living in the flat were found to be in the country illegally.

Four women and three men, all aged between 30 and 51, were found to have overstayed their visas.

They were arrested and detained pending their removal from the UK.

Three further individuals, a man aged 37, and a woman, 26, who had also overstayed their visas, together with their one-year-old child, were granted immigration bail.

They will now have to report regularly to the UK Border Agency while steps are taken to remove them at the earliest opportunity.

There are many more illegals living in Harrow and Brent. I request everyone to inform The Border Agency if they know or suspect any one to be here illegally or have overstayed. Keeping a blind eye is no good.

Paisley, why do you not contact Border Agency or the Police about what you are implying?

SeaBee, what makes you get that feeling?

pravinshah, 1) because UK laws are toothless, 2) because the UK Border Agency is incompetent. Remind me, which London borough now provides a home to Abu Qatada? I wonder if the three individuals given bail still reside in the premises in Brent.

pravinshah, are you the Dr Pravin Shah, General and Legal Secretary of the self-styled 'Harrow Council for Justice'? If you are can you let me know on what basis you style yourself 'Doctor'?

SeaBee, first of all are you sure that Abu Qatada has been provided home by a local authority? You will find that it is a department of the ruling government who has done so.

Secondly it is none of your business about my qualifications as you do not own me. I do not have to justify my position to you or any one else as I do not get any public funding.

So I can assume that your doctorate, if that is what it is, is of little value.

Think what you like. As far as I am concerned, you are of no value, SeaBee

pravinshah, look on me as the little piece of grit which, when introduced into a pearl, causes irritation and the formation of a pearl.

I will continue to ask the question until such time as you let me know where you received your doctorate (unless, of course you have an ordinary medical degree) and for what you received it.

In the meantime, other people may also question the validity of your honorific.
