Local talent is to be showcased at this year’s Sudbury Arts Festival.

Representatives of local businesses and associations met at Through the Looking Glass hair salon in Watford Road on Tuesday to discuss plans for the festival, which will take place between September 26 and 29.

The organisers are hoping to include work by as many different local artists, musicians and crafters as possible.

They are keen to hear from anyone who has an idea or who would like to get involved.

The Reverend Felicity Scroggie of St Andrews Church said: “We are delighted that the community is coming together to celebrate local talent and we look forward to a fun filled three day event to build on the success of last year’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.”
