Police called after collision with lamp post
Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash in which a car hit a lamp post.
Firefighters, police and ambulances were called to Peterborough Road, Harrow at 3pm yesterday following reports of smoke coming from a car involved in the collision.
A silver Skoda and a blue Toyota Starlet were involved in the crash, after which one or more people were taken to hospital.
Their injuries are not believed to be threatening.
There was a heavy build up of traffic and buses had to be diverted.
