Bhupendra Patel cracked a nut for every £5 donated to Prostate Cancer UK
A postman from Kingsbury has been cracking nuts to help raise awareness of prostate cancer.
Bhupendra Patel, who is based at Mount Pleasant Mail Centre, supported Prostate Cancer UK by cracking a walnut with a sledgehammer for every five pounds donated.
The event which was streamed live on the Prostate Cancer UK Website was part of the charity’s ‘Sledgehammer Fund’.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in men in the UK and more than 40,000 men are diagnosed with the disease every year.
Mr Patel said: “This was a fun way of raising awareness for a very serious disease that affects so many men throughout the UK.”
