The Children's Society looks for Harrow volunteers
4:20pm Tuesday 29th January 2013 in News By Emma Innes
A children’s charity is looking for volunteers to work in its Harrow shops.
The Children’s Society is urging people to join its team of volunteers as a way of helping some of the country’s most disadvantaged children.
The organisation wants to hear from anyone willing to give up a few hours a week to work in its charity shops.
The charity’s retail operations manager, Tina Fellstrom, said: “Our volunteers are the cornerstone of our work.
“Without their selfless dedication, our work to create a better life for the most disadvantaged children would be impossible.
“Whether it’s a few hours a day or a couple of days a week, their contribution is invaluable.”
