Harrow councillors organise candlelit vigil for Indian rape victim
5:30pm Wednesday 23rd January 2013 in News By Emma Innes
Two Harrow councillors are organising a candlelit vigil and prayers for a Delhi gang rape victim.
Councillor Kairul Kareema Marikar and Councillor Krishna Suresh are organising the event which will take place in the Civic Centre, in Station Road, at 12pm on February 1.
The event will be held in memory of a 23-year-old medical student who was gang raped on a bus in Delhi on December 16 and who subsequently died of her injuries on December 29.
