A Harrow pub is to receive a £150,000 makeover in time for Valentine’s Day.

The Royal Oak in St Anne’s Road will close on February 3 and reopen on February 14.

While it is closed, operators the Original Pub Company will give the premises a new open-plan layout, it will be redecorated, a fitted bar will be added and seating booths will be created.

General manager Kathy O’Callaghan said: “I can’t wait to introduce our new look and menu to our community.

“We’re all about satisfying the busy lifestyles by offering a range of light and tasty dishes that are easy to share over a cocktail or two.”
