Free events organised in Harrow for National Storytelling Week
8:30am Saturday 26th January 2013 in News By Emma Innes
Harrow performers will be putting on free events for the whole family to celebrate National Storytelling Week.
Claudia Mernick and Pippa Reid will hold two storytelling sessions in the borough.
The first will be this afternoon at 3pm in Pinner Library, Marsh Road.
The second will be on Sunday February 3 at 11.30am at West House in Pinner Memorial Park.
Both events are free of charge and do not require pre-booking.
Ms Mernick said: “Storytelling is such a simple, yet powerful form of communication.
“Whatever your age, whatever your background, it is immediately engaging. We just want to promote its universal appeal and as Pippa and I both live in Harrow, where better to tell our tales?”
The 13th National Storytelling Week, organised by the Society for Storytelling, will take place from today until February 2.
