Free events organised in Harrow for National Storytelling Week
3:40pm Friday 11th January 2013 in News By Emma Innes
Two Harrow performers will be putting on free events for the whole family to celebrate National Storytelling Week.
Claudia Mernick and Pippa Reid will hold two storytelling sessions in the borough.
The first will be on January 26 at 3pm in Pinner Library, Marsh Road.
The second will on be February 3 at 11.30am in West House, Pinner Memorial Park.
Both events are free of charge and do not require pre-booking.
Ms Mernick said: “Storytelling is such a simple, yet powerful form of communication.
“Whatever your age, whatever your background, it is immediately engaging. We just want to promote its universal appeal and as Pippa and I both live in Harrow, where better to tell our tales?”
The 13th National Storytelling Week will take place from January 26 until February 2.
It is organised by the Society for Storytelling.
