Man taken to hospital following house fire in Queensbury

A man required hospital treatment after a house fire in Queensbury yesterday.
Fire crews were called to Brinkburn Gardens at 2.30pm where the ground floor of a house was on fire.
The man managed to escape the building before firefighters arrived but was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from smoke inhalation.
Part of the ground floor of the building was damaged by the blaze which was under control by 3.10pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
