Camberwell man charged with murder in Kilburn of Shaun Akanbi

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Kilburn have charged a Camberwell man with his murder, while a man arrested in the Harrow area has been released on bail.

Achraf Jandara, 20, of Comber Grove, was charged today with the murder of Shaun Akanbi, whose body was found by police at an address in Exeter Road, Kilburn, on Saturday December 22.

He was arrested yesterday and will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court on Monday January 7.

A 19 year old man who was arrested in the Harrow area yesterday has been bailed.

Moshood Abiola Akanbi, also known as Shaun Akanbi, 26, of Exeter Road, was found suffering from multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination later found he had died of multiple stab wounds to the torso.
