Big Hug Foundation organises candlelit vigil in central London for Indian gang rape victim
8:50am Saturday 5th January 2013 in News By Emma Innes
A Wembley charity is organising a candlelit vigil for an Indian gang rape victim.
The Big Hug Foundation is working with the CAREducation Trust to organise a candle memorial in Tavistock Square, central London, at 12pm today.
The event will be held in memory of the medical student, who died after being gang raped in Delhi on December 16.
It will give Londoners the chance to show their support for the injustices faced by Indian women.
It is hoped that it will also raise awareness of the problems some Indian women face.
