The front window of Vinson Jeweller's, in Station Road, was smashed during an attempted robbery
Two teenagers accused of carrying out an armed smash-and-grab raid at a jeweller’s in Edgware will appear in court for the second time next week.
The front window of Vinson Jewellers, in Station Road, was smashed during the alleged robbery on Friday.
A 17-year-old from Colindale and a 16-year-old from Stanmore appeared at Wealdstone Youth Court on Monday where the case was passed up to Wood Green Crown Court.
The pair, who cannot be named because of their age, are facing charges of robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
They are also charged with possession of an imitation firearm whilst committing a schedule one offence, affray, and taking and driving away.
A preliminary hearing will take place at Wood Green Crown Court on Monday.
