Wembley man to appear at Old Bailey in connection with Kingsbury police officer stabbing

A 33-year-old man is to appear at the Old Bailey in connection with the stabbing of four police officers.

Christopher Houghton, of Milford Gardens, Wembley, is to appear in court on November 28.

He is charged with assault by beating, causing criminal damage and two counts of causing actual bodily harm.

The charges related to the stabbing of four police officers in Kingsbury on November 19, 2011.

The incident took place outside Kingsbury Halal Butchers in Kingsbury Road.

Three of the officers required surgery.
