SOME of the last remaining evacuees of the South Harrow explosion are meeting councillors to discuss plans to keep them in temporary accommodation.

As dozens of residents move back into their homes, in and around Stanley Road, where an explosion destroyed three properties last week, residents who live in the 12 houses most severely affected are due to meet council officers and elected members to talk over arrangements for longer term emergency housing.

The meeting is due to be held this evening, starting at 7pm, at the civic centre.
