LIONEL Blair is returning to the New End Theatre with his popular show Tap & Chat.

The show is a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the colourful world of the all-round entertainer, who has spent 60 years in showbusiness.

Between performing songs including Me & My Shadow and They Can’t Take That Away From Me, he will share anecdotes from his stage and screen career, during which he performed alongside legends including The Beatles, Sammy Davis Jr, Ella Fitzgerald, and Liza Minnelli.

Lionel has worked in every genre of entertainment. Initially a dancer and choreographer, his career diversified and he became a household name as one of the team captains on Give Us A Clue and as presenter of the game show Name That Tune. His recent theatre credits include The Rocky Horror Show, the Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and as the host of Simply Ballroom.

He has also appeared on the small screen over the years on shows including Crossroads and Footballers Wives, plus appearances on The Farm, Alan Carr’s End of Pier Show, and Extras.
