Baroness Shirley Williams will be in conversation at the London Jewish Community Centre next week.

The former Labour cabinet member, co-founded the Social Democratic Party in 1981, which later became the Liberal Democrats. She later served as leader of the Lib Dems in the House of Lords.

Baroness Williams is also Professor Emeritus of Elective Politics at the John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and advises the Prime Minister on issues of nuclear proliferation.
