The barely-there sandals of last year have been scared into the back of the cupboard by this season’s fierce new footwear.

More is definitely more, with straps, laces and cutout details galore. Ghillie styles are still popular but have been joined by caged boots and heels that wouldn’t look amiss on a fantastical warrior goddess.

There is a nod to fetishism but it has been refined with tribal patterns and both ultra bright tropical and ultra pretty neutral colours to create footwear that screams ‘wear me now’.
