Helping us tackle crime and anti-social behaviour

I had a meeting with the managers of betting shops on the borough this week and am pleased that they are all very supportive in helping us tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, particularly in the Wealdstone area . I will be putting extra resources into the area to deal with a persistent group of criminals and my officers will be using dispersal powers to move people from the area. We have dispersed over 40 people from Wealdstone High Street in the last fortnight and arrested 10 people for drugs offences.
